Pottery Barn Actually Has A Few Neat Ideas!

I love this hanging planter. I have several places that I could put these and I also have some sheets of stainless steel that I picked up at a yard sale for $2 that would make these look more modern!
This whiteboard is awesome! It lets the color of your walls show through. You could do this with any old frame you have sitting around. Just frost the back of it using an etching kit and use a whiteboard marker.

Abstarct Canvas

I've been looking for some modern art for our family room. I really love this idea of a collage of smaller coordinating pieces to to make one large piece. I also like this idea because it is something that I could definitely do myself using 12x12 gallery canvas . And-if you don't like the look of 1 or 2 of them you don't have to redo the whole art project!

Patchwork Goodness

It never fails- every winter I purchase a stack of sweaters, both wool and cashmere. And every winter I have more than half of them fall victim to the washer and dryer. What to do with all of those lovely sweaters once they've been shrunken? Ah ha! Patchwork blankets! Patchwork pillows! Patchwork throws! I know I've been away for awhile, I've been super busy at work and with my other sites (see links). I just love what the folks at Nono are doing. The egg stands are perfect for Easter Decorating! I just need to figure out where I can find some longer fake grass like that. And the hot water bottle vase- I have a pink one thats just collecting dust. It would look lovely hanging in my bathroom with spring flowers in it.
